Telic Engineering / Resources

One engineer is not always enough. We can send more.

For campaigns, two jobs at the same time, rotations, or a mechanical or instrument engineer next to the controls engineer, we bring in independent contractors from our own network: self-employed engineers with their own company, never staff of a client or OEM. We know them personally, we check their certificates, and they work under our agreement, our insurance and our reporting.

What we supply

Field engineers for turbine packages, not a database of CVs: independent contractors with their own company, whom we know personally. Remco leads the job or is the back-up.

How resource supply works

One supplier

You contract with Telic Engineering B.V. and nobody else. One agreement, one invoice, one person to call. The engineers work under our insurance, EHS policy and code of conduct.

Independent contractors

Every engineer is self-employed with their own company, and we know them personally. Nobody is borrowed from a client or an OEM. We tell you what they have done on your type of equipment and control system, and we send their certificates before travel.

Mobilisation and replacement

You hear within 24 hours who is available. On site usually within 3 to 7 days; rotation schedules if you want them. If someone drops out, we send a replacement, we do not cancel.

Reporting

A daily report from every engineer and one close-out report for the job. Weekly timesheets, expenses at cost, rates per discipline agreed before we start.

Typical scopes

  • Commissioning campaign: a controls lead plus one or two controls or instrument engineers for a multi-unit start-up, day and night shift.
  • Outage or inspection support: instrument and mechanical support engineers alongside your OEM field service team during 4k/8k inspections and engine exchanges.
  • Parallel call-offs: two sites at once, both on Woodward or GE controls, both wanting the same week.
  • Rotation cover: a controls engineer on a two-on, two-off rotation for a production or operations support contract.
  • DLE mapping: a controls engineer with our mapping partner for mapping and emissions testing on LM2500 and LM6000 DLE packages.

Not sure whether a scope fits? Send it. If we cannot staff it properly, we say so the same day.

Join our network

For controls, instrument and mechanical engineers with hands-on gas turbine or turbomachinery experience who work as independent contractors.

What we look for. Field experience on Woodward or GE controls, aero-derivative or heavy-duty gas turbines, steam turbines or compressors. Valid offshore certificates (survival, MIST, medical) or the willingness to obtain them. Your own company or contractor status, and the habit of writing a clear daily report.

How it works. Send your CV, the platforms and control systems you have worked on, and copies of your certificates to remco.petersen@telic-engineering.nl. We keep your details on file and call you when a job fits. We are not an agency and there are no vacancies: each job is a separate agreement, with fair terms and payment on time.

Need engineers on site?

Send the start date, estimated duration, scope, disciplines, systems on site and location. You get availability and an estimate the same working day.
